Unlike other beaches of the region, Kite Beach naturally sheltered inside Jericoacoara bay and not on the open-ocean, and therefore does not have the oceanic swell seen in most beaches. Most flat water spots in the region are small lagoons, which tend to get overcrowded. Because of the distance to the launch, we’ve created a mobile center to store your gear, plus provide shade and cold water right on the water’s edge providing the ultimate in convenience. With offshore winds, safety is an obvious concern so lessons boat-guided by our highly trained instructors.

Jericoacoara has three different spots for the windsurf practice and training. Among flat water, constant side off-shore wind, good and friendly waves from November till January, here you will find perfect conditions from July till end of January. The wind blows stronger from September till November, getting up to 30 ~ 35 knots, 4.2 ~ 4.7 sails. EVERY DAY! If you prefer light wind, this is the spot. If you prefer strong wind, this is the spot.
